Deloitte is an international audit consulting corporation that owns a network of companies around the world. It is one of the "Big Four" audit companies and is the largest in terms of the number of employees (312,2 people)[2019]. In 100, Fortune magazine included Deloitte in its list of the 3 most outstanding companies in the world for the twentieth time. The main office is located in New York.

He works in the field of audit, accounting, international taxation, transfer pricing, financial consulting, legal services and risk management. The CEO is Joe Ukuzoglu.

History
Deloitte's first office was opened by William Welsh Deloitte in 1845 in London.

In 1890, it entered the U.S. market. In 1900, George Touche (English) George Touche) In 1968, the accounting firm Tohmatsu Awoki & Co. began operations in Tokyo. (later Tohmatsu & Co.).

In 1972, it merged with Haskins & Sells to form Deloitte Haskins & Sells, and in 1989 it merged with Touche Ross in the United States to form Deloitte & Touche. The merger in 1990 created Deloitte & Touche, and in 5 the company was renamed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. In 1993, the international firm was renamed Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu, later downsized to Deloitte.

In 2002, Arthur Andersen in the UK, as well as several of the firm's divisions in Europe, North and South America, agreed to merge with Deloitte. In January 2013, Monitor Group, a large strategic consulting business, entered the list of further acquisitions. An International Company is a UK private limited company, and each of its national firms is a separate and independent legal entity.

The founders of the company were William Welsh Deloitte, George Touche and Nobuzo Tomatsu.

In March 2022, Deloitte acquired Etain, a data and digital transformation company based in Northern Ireland. 

In June 2022, The Wall Street Journal reported that the company may decide to split into two new companies - accounting and consulting. The Wall Street Journal reported on this potential change a few weeks after it was reported that Ernst & Young was considering a similar split. 

In November 2023, Deloitte awarded a supply contract to Henchmann, a provider of contracting and negotiation software that scans and extracts key data from legal documents.

For a long time, Deloitte formed a Swiss association, but on July 31, 2010, the members of the association became part of the private company Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Ltd with the liability of the participants within the limits guaranteed by them, registered in England.

Each representative office of the company has a separate legal entity, which is subject to the legislation of the state in the territory of which it operate. This structure, in which the cooperative provides support services only to its member firms, is similar to other international professional services networks. In turn, the member firms provide services to the end customer.
