The Philadelphia Experiment is a classified US Navy experiment staged on October 28, 1943 with the USS Eldridge. The essence of the experiment was to create a super-powerful electromagnetic field around the ship, which, as a result of this manipulation, was supposed to become invisible to enemy radars.
