Ещё совсем малышом сенегальский иммигрант Момо потерял мать. Сейчас ему 12, и он промышляет мелким криминалом. Пожилая мадам Роза зарабатывает тем, что присматривает за детьми проституток — она вырастила уже не одно поколение, поэтому пользуется у местных уважением.
