Эва, героиня фильма «Напоказ», молодая счастливая женщина, мать очаровательного малыша и любящая супруга, работает в институте, чему вполне довольна. Ее муж Анри руководит оркестром и безмерно любит жену, стараясь полностью оградить ее от внешних жизненных невзгод. Но все неожиданно рушится, когда мужчина, поддавшись мимолетной страсти, изменяет Эве с учительницей их сына. С этого момента семья оказывается во власти тяжелого кризиса, который приближает супругов к разводу. Ситуация оказывается безвыходной, Эва совершенно потеряна и не знает, как теперь строить дальнейшее будущее.
