Surprise guests with an unusual dish for the New Year. Salad "Rabbit" with corn, rice and ham, as well as with grated cheese, will perfectly decorate the New Year's table 2023. Very tasty salad with a delicate cheese aroma. Thanks to the original design, the salad will certainly not go unnoticed.

Products (for 6 servings)
Ham - 200 g
Rice - 160 g
Canned corn - 150 g
Eggs - 4 pcs.
Onions - 60 g
Cucumber - 30 g
Fresh dill - 1 bunch (15 g)
Mayonnaise - 80 g
Salt - 1/2 tsp.
Ground black pepper - 1 pinch

Hard cheese - 300 g
Ham - 60 g
Seedless olives - 1 pc.
Fresh greens - a few twigs
Carrots - a few slices

Prepare the products.

Rinse the rice until clear water, 4-5 times. Put the rice in a saucepan and pour water at a rate of 1: 2 (for one part of rice, two parts of water). Send the pot to the stove.

Bring to a boil. After boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum, salt and cook the rice until ready - until the liquid is absorbed, about 15 minutes. Allow the cooked rice to cool slightly.

Hard-boil the eggs for 10 minutes after boiling. Cool in cold water.

Boiled eggs are peeled from the shell and grated on a large grater

Cut the ham into small cubes.
Peel the onion and cut into small cubes.
Cut the cucumber into small cubes.
Send the eggs, ham, cucumber and onion to a deep dish.
Prepare canned corn without liquid.

Finely chop fresh dill.
In the salad bowl, add rice, dill and corn to the prepared ingredients.
Dress the salad with mayonnaise. If desired, its number can be increased.

Lettuce pepper. If desired, you can salt, but do not forget that ham and rice are already salted. Stir the salad.

Spread the salad on a flat dish, forming the torso and head of the rabbit.

Grate the cheese on a fine grater. Leave a few slices of cheese From them, cut rabbit ears and other decorative elements, such as stars.

Carefully cover the three-dimensional figure of the rabbit with grated cheese.

If the cheese cannot be attached, you can grease the salad on top with a layer of mayonnaise. I didn't use any additional mayonnaise.

From the ham, also cut out elements to decorate the salad. From a slice of ham, cut the ears. In size, they should be slightly smaller than cheese. From the ham, also cut two strips - 1 cm wide and 8-9 cm long (depending on the size of the rabbit's neck). Also cut out the asterisk.

Combine cheese and ham ears. Attach toothpicks to the base of the ears (center). If the ears do not hold, then use 2 more toothpicks. Also cut a small triangle out of the ham. It will be a rabbit nose.

Put two strips of ham on the rabbit's neck, connect them in the center. Attach an asterisk to one side of the strip. Install the ears.

Cut the olive in half and attach the eyes to the rabbit's head. Make a spout out of a ham triangle. Lay out the greenery around the rabbit. I also made a décor out of carrots.
