As part of the InterNations study, expats rated the countries of their temporary stay depending on how easy it was to settle there, including in terms of ease of finding housing and language. In the end, it turned out that the easiest way to do this is in Bahrain.

In particular, roughly two-thirds of expats believe it's easy to deal with local authorities in Bahrain, compared to the global average of less than half.

One in seven expats also said that getting a visa to live in Bahrain was fairly easy, making the relocation process easier. Quite often, if a foreigner moves to Bahrain for work, his company can help him with a visa.

At the same time, about 82% of expats said that it was easy for them to find housing in Bahrain, which is much higher than the world average (54%). Many expats live in apartments, which are the most popular type of housing in Bahrain. The size and cost of the apartment here vary greatly depending on the location. Expats moving to Bahrain with their families may choose to live in a villa, many of which are in gated complexes.

At the same time, although many expats said that finding housing in Bahrain is easy, only 39% consider it affordable in terms of price.

In terms of language, it was easy for expats to adapt in Bahrain without speaking the local language. Arabic is the official language in the country, however English is also widely spoken and is displayed on road signs.

In addition, in the top 10 best countries for expats were four more countries of the Middle East - the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.
