“I'm not here for your amusement. You're here for mine.”

Johnny Rotten

Art analyzes reality and synthesizes meanings, generalizes, creates something new.

The entertainment industry (it may seem like art, borrow its tools and techniques, try to replace it, finally) is not art, in fact. If it is not its direct opposite, it stands on the side or next to it.

This is a long dialogue and you can talk for a long time. I can't write that much. But I will wedge myself into the discussion. There are basic things. Basic.
The first is that Plato wrote (and for this he did not like poets, and he did not see a place for them in his State) that Art (any) is an imitation of reality.

And since reality itself is a reflection of the world of ideas, Art is a reflection of reflection, a second shadow, pale and insignificant. And it's not real at all...

The second was hooked by Shevchuk in an interview with Dudu - because of the conflict between Shnur and Shevchuk - in absentia. He remembered Nietzsche with his "The Birth of Tragedy from the Spirit of Music." In this work, art is divided into Apollonic and Dionysian.

Strict, beautiful, slender mood, etc. and Bacchic, violent,, etc. Well, he said that Shnur is engaged in pure Dionysianism - thump, mat,, drink in St. Petersburg, healthy lifestyle is generally a ****hedgehog, and so on ...

The third refraction of this story is Schopenhauer, who considered art (any) to be some kind of dreams - something fantastic and unreal, with the help of which people flee from reality ...

But it's all about art. And in my very subjective opinion, there are two (TWO) industries.
There is an entertainment industry - it's all about. These are attractions, and a circus, and video games, and and something else.

And there is art.

The difference is that the entertainment industry is aimed only at entertainment, and through the Artist, through art, God talks to people. Willingly or involuntarily.

And there is a God, I know it for sure (I don't believe - I know). And the tools of both the entertainment industry and Art by and large (and in any account) are the same - you can't write anything. So that's it. Spoke.

Am I wrong?
