42-летний Лукас живет в небольшой датской деревушке, работает воспитателем в детском саду и пытается оправиться после тяжелого развода. Жизнь постепенно налаживается: он встречает любимую женщину и восстанавливает отношения с сыном-подростком Маркусом. Но детская обида дочери его лучшего друга провоцирует случайную ложь, которая распространяется по небольшому сообществу, как вирус.
