The result showed that the speed of perception of information did decrease in the subjects at the age, compared with younger participants, but the other two functions remained at the level or in some cases improved.
These data were associated with the fact that with age, experience accumulates, which helps to more effectively learn and memorize new information. As well as the previously acquired knowledge allows you to selectively concentrate on certain objects.
