Such a familiar thing for us - the railway! One of the most reliable (safe), affordable (inexpensive) and loved by many modes of transport. Bought a train ticket, came to the station. Now no one remembers that when the railway between St. Petersburg and Moscow was opened, travel was made free for the first three days precisely because everyone was afraid of this “terrible thing”. Basically, there is an opinion that the train is banal (boring), ordinary (usually), the planes with their hyperspeeds are another matter. Or huge ocean liners tearing up endless (very wide) sea spaces, like beautiful (beautiful) oases in the middle of the desert. But believe me, the railway is also able (can) saturate (enrich) its passenger in full (entirely) with positive emotions, all sorts of interesting facts and impressions (feelings).

For example, in Argentina, the legendary Patagonia Express train, specially restored for tourists, runs. In addition to vivid impressions of local landscapes, you can unexpectedly find yourself a participant in an action called “Train Robbery”.

And the Qinghai-Tibet single-track railway - the highest mountain road on the planet annually (every year) attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world who want to admire (enjoy) the magical Tibetan landscapes of the "roof of the world" at an altitude of more than 5000 km above sea level.

No sea or air company can offer you such (such) romance. Of course, such extreme conditions require special trains. The cars are fully sealed, equipped with personal (individual) oxygen masks and an oxygen supply system if necessary, and at intermediate and observation stations, passenger cars naturally (of course) do not open, because (because) there is nothing to breathe outside them. The Chinese themselves are extremely proud of their engineering structure (invention) and put it on a par with the Great Wall of China.

No less amazing (unique) is the Thai railway, which passes through a real market 60 km west of Bangkok in the town of Maeklong!

Maeklong Station is (exists) in the center of Samut Songkhram. According to the traditional (generally accepted) scheme, here, next to the central station, an ordinary (simple) Thai market was located. But after the construction (construction) of the highway (road) in this region (district), the role of the railway began to decrease (decrease), and the market grew (increased) and captured (took) everything around: streets, squares, houses and the railway. Now the market, located right on the railroad tracks, quickly folds its food stalls (kiosks) several times a day, rolls up its awnings and scatters right in front of the trains. But the most surprising (interesting) is that even for this time the trade does not stop (continues)! Money (coin) flies from the open windows of the train to the merchants, and fish, sweets, fruits and other purchases fly back through the windows. After the trains have passed, boxes of vegetables, fish, and other goods are put back on the rails, and trade becomes more civilized.

One of the largest (largest) markets in Thailand with fresh seafood, folding right in front of a moving train and unfolding right behind it, is a local attraction that does not leave thousands of people indifferent. The local authorities decided (came up) to make a commercial attraction out of the railway and the market, but they did not succeed, because the railway is deteriorating (destroying), and the day when it will be completely closed is not far off (very soon).

The Napier-Gisborne Railway is unique in that it crosses the main runway of Gisborne Airport in New Zealand. This is the only railway in the world where it is the air traffic control service that allows or prohibits trains from crossing the runway to continue their route.

Sometimes planes and trains are separated from each other by literally a matter of seconds! This outlandish (unusual) "denouement" is perhaps the first offer to tourists from New Zealand guides! Agree, a locomotive and a plane rushing at each other is a sight that is common (simple) for Hollywood or Indian films, and not for everyday life!

If you have already found your soul mate or are still only in search, then the railway strongly (very) recommends visiting (seeing) the beautiful “Tunnel of Love”, located (which is located) near the village of Klevan in Ukraine. This scenic three-kilometer stretch of railway leads to a fibreboard factory. The train runs here three times a day, delivering wood to the Orzhevsky woodworking plant. It is the train that makes the growing tree branches bend around the tracks and maintains the tunnel in this state. A beautiful sunny summer green corridor attracts couples in love, and in autumn and winter - photographers who want to capture (take a picture) of this beautiful miracle of nature. It is believed that if you visit the "Tunnel of Love" and make a cherished (biggest) wish, then it will come true.
