Drew Houston is an American internet entrepreneur best known as the founder and CEO of Dropbox. According to Forbes magazine, his fortune is estimated at 1.2 billion US dollars.
Early life
Drew Houston was born in Acton, Massachusetts in 1983. Drew attended Acton-Boxborough Regional School in 1990 and then graduated from MIT with a degree in computer science, where he was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. It was there that Houston met his friend and Dropbox co-founder, Arash Ferdowsi.
Early startup
Prior to founding Dropbox, Drew worked on many projects, including Bit9, Accolade, and Hubspot.
Award
Drew Houston was named the most influential person aged 30 and younger by Business Week magazine, and Dropbox was named one of the top 20 startups in Silicon Valley.
