Geography of Asia
It is separated from North America by the Bering Strait. The border with Africa runs through the Suez Canal, so the part of Egypt that is located on the Sinai Peninsula belongs to Asia. The conditional border with Europe passes through the Eastern Urals and the Caspian Sea.
Asia is washed by all the oceans of our planet: the Arctic, quiet, Indian and Atlantic. In its western part there are inland seas - Azov, Black, Marmara, Aegean, Mediterranean. The largest lakes are the Caspian and Aral (which are commonly called seas), Balkhash and Baikal. The largest rivers are the Yangtze, the Yellow River, the Mekong River, the Lena River, the Irtysh River, the Ob River, and the Yenisei River.
The highest point in Asia is Mount Everest (8848 m), the lowest is the Dead Sea (405 m below sea level).
Almost 3/4 of the area of Asia is occupied by mountains and plateaus. The eastern part is an area of active volcanism. In its far north there are tundras, to the south - taiga, and on the western side - fertile black soils. The main part of Central Asia is occupied by deserts. The largest of these is the Gobi. It is separated from South and Southeast Asia by the Himalayas.
The climate in most of Asia is continental. However, it ranges from subpolar and polar (in the far north), to very humid tropical (in the southeast) and extremely dry tropical (in the southwest).

And also - breathe in the mountain air, because there are six of the highest peaks in the world, including Everest. Legends claim that it was in Nepal that the Buddha was born. To a greater or lesser extent, they have spread throughout the world.
